Say it louder for the people at the back… by Sharissa L Pérez
“A cord of three strands is not easily broken" was the resounding theme of the wedding. I love weddings. In a culture where we don’t “ketch feelings." It’s refreshing to see two people expressing their feelings for one another publicly and wholeheartedly."
Today Aldo and I witnessed the lovely union of Elizabeth and Michael Palacio. Michael, from Michael Palacio Photography, has been my friend for almost eight years.
We met when we were working at ReadyCall Centre. We worked the same shift and lived one street apart. We both left that job the same year and began new jobs. He got an online job that paid him into a US account and when Armando and I decided to pay Facebook to promote our business page, Michael was the key player to facilitate that initiative.
We relied on him for almost 3 years to facilitate the payment to Facebook. Had it not been for him and his US account; it would have taken the business longer to get to where we are now.
We live in a world where we feel the need to rely on no one but ourselves, where we must succeed on our own without the help of anyone; a world filled with narcissism and self indulgence. This is why I must acknowledge the help my friend Michael has been to myself, and more so my business, because without his help we would have not survived those struggling times.
Michael and Elizabeth, Aldo and I wish you guys a very happy marriage. May the love you feel for each other today continue growing with roots so deep that no hurricane can uproot it. Cheer, dear friend.
